PacificTrainz opened on November 11, 2010. The goal of PT was to offer fun to run routes that everyone could use. In March 2011, we moved into doing reskins and eventually create full custom content. PTUSA was opened as a separate site to keep things easy and organized. Later through the year, PT and PTUSA expanded options to multiple types of content and soon was averaging several hundred visitors per day.

Today, several years later, PT is still going strong. A new website that brings both PT and PTUSA back together as one, was opened on April 1, 2013. The new site will bring more content than ever! With more routes, more trains, more of everything! The new PacificTrainz is here!
